Arabic Names

Arabic works on three-consonant roots too, and the grammar can turn one root into a family of names with graded meanings — praised, most praiseworthy, one who praises. Spellings in English vary enormously because they are transliterations rather than translations, and different languages heard the same name differently on its way here.
